Unfortunately, as the child grows, they leave the hospital and suddenly they are exposed to the big bad world. There is no shielding them from reality, there is badness in the world, and it consumes more people than we would like to admit. Children see people doing bad things on a daily basis; whether it be a young boy pushing another, or all the devastating pictures they see on the news every evening. It is happening, the children see it and there's nothing we can do to control it. It is up to the character of the child alone which path they want to choose for the rest of their life. Children will develop their own moral views, it is up to us older generations to lead by example and show those to come after us the difference between right and wrong, good and bad. So try to guide your children's moral values, try steer them in the direction of goodness, because after all, they'll be the ones deciding which nursing home you're put in!
