For the people who think babies are born with neither and are taught how to act like they act. Don't lie, we all know of a brat or seen a brat who has a tantrum over not getting something they don't need and the mother is so nice, she buys it for them because she can't bare to see her 'angel' cry. The child knows darn well when they cry, the mother will buy them the toy and does it repeatedly. The mother clearly didn't teach them to do this because she's so nice but they still take advantage of her and manipulate her in order to get what they want. They didn't learn how to be bad but they still know how to be.
And then there's the other flip of the coin. Those children you hear about whose parents are abusive and cruel but the child has a heart of gold and would never hurt anyone. You're argument would say that them children have to be bad because they see and are taught to be evil, therefore they can't learn to be good? This just isn't possible to learn goodness from the example of abusive and cruel parents.
I think it isn't based on what the environment is in which you grow up in that matters, it's what inside tells you and what you chose to be.
