Babies depend one hundred percent on their parents or guardians for everything. It is their duty to love and care for the children in the right way. Unfortunately, in some cases, the usual care for the children is not provided. We hear about these cases day-in, day-out; there is always some unlucky child who is a victim of neglect or abuse. When you look deeper into things, the mistreatment of children is usually down to the parents not knowing any better themselves. All of this leads to more troublesome children and adolescents, So the question still remains, are we born good, or are we born bad?
My opinion still stands. I believe everybody is born as if they were a blank canvas, It is down to the up-bringing and general surroundings that makes us into the people we are. How the people who are around us, care for us and act towards us sculpts us as individuals. It all comes down to the morals they have, and their attitude towards different aspects in life. For example, if you take the "good", innocent child; they start off their secondary school life with everything perfect. They get good grades, co-operate with the school rules, but somehow they mix with the wrong group of people. They can go from being that excellent child, to being the rebel in no time!
What I'm trying to say is, this child would have changed because the people around them changed. It would have nothing to do with the fact that they are born "good" or "bad". People have the ability to change themselves. Nobody is stuck with the same attitude towards life from the moment they're born to when they take their last breath. If we were born "good" or "bad", we wouldn't have that ability, we would be stuck; there would be no option other than remaining the same person.
