While everyone can relate to death, unfortunately some more than others. Loosing a loved one brings feelings of sadness and lonlieness while it also makes you reflect on the happy meaningful memories once shared.
They say time is a healer, one tries to keep themselves busy to avoid thinking about the stark reality of a lost loved one. But No, there is often quiet moments where you are reminded of them. Looking back on Photographs of their smiling face that would light up the room, reminiscing on the good times and even listening to music would bring tears to ones eyes. We think about how much we miss someone or will miss someone who is sick and have no chance of living. We wish we could go back in time and relive just one single day again, but sadly this is not possible. Death is Final, No one can escape it !
It's coming up to this time of year again. That is Christmas, it is percieved to be a happy time with family and friends. Regrettably Not for everyone. That missing person at at Christmas dinner, absent but there in spirit, brings back the reality of the present. Times like this, there are many questions left unanswered, they tell us they are in a better place than they ever were before. This is meant to peacify us, I suppose it does to a degree.
"Things change, friends leave, life doesn't stop for anybody" so for all those living life in the fast lane, slow down and take everyday as it comes, for we may not be here tomorrow.
