You arrive into school with a gold chain on or some black eye make up on and your favourite pair of shoes because you want to 'spice' up your uniform and make it your own. And the first sentence you hear is "out to the year head" or "do you have a note for that". No, no I don't have a note for that do you have a note for your bright green skirt or your rainbow scarf?
I mean don't get me wrong having a uniform is dead handy and it saves the hassle of picking out clothes every morning but I mean shouldn't there be some little allowances? If your not in the the mood to wear your rock hard dubbarrys or AV8s and want to wear your new memory foam pair of sketcher, shouldn't that be allowed without any hassle or drama? Shouldn't you be allowed to wear make up to help your self confidence? I mean its not like teachers don't wear it.
I don't necessarily think teachers should have a school uniform but if there is such limitations on our shool uniform shouldn't the same apply to teachers? I mean "practice what you preach" and all that! 1,2,3,4... sorry yes miss I am listening.
