I cannot wait to get older and go to college. I can honestly say I hate secondary school. There is nothing exciting about secondary school. We get tests most days and trying to study every night and doing all your homework. I hate the way we get homework, as if 7 hours of torture isn't enough we have to go home and do more work.
As much as I loved my childhood, I am so happy I'm nearly done secondary school. Secondary school is so much pressure, with the Leaving Cert. The Leaving Cert basically decides on all of our futures. I always ask myself, what if I don't get enough points? what if I don't get accepted into the college I want? They are all scary thoughts and the Leaving Cert decides whether I do or don't get into the college I've always wanted to go to.
My parents always say that secondary school is the best days of your life, but for me college will be mine. In college I will be away from my parents and all the drama of being from a small town. College will be great!
