My theory however is where we get time to seize the day?
In this modern era , we are constantly moving, constantly creating new inventions of technology, spending years in medical school to become doctors , to become something more.
In between all the hustle and bustle of life's events, we simply forget the frailty of it , how simply it can slip through our fingers like sand , how weeks can become months , and months years, in what feels like a matter of minutes.
If we are trying to seize the day , then none of us would be scientists, doctors or musicians , whether or not this is such a bad thing , I haven't decided. What I do know is how contentment is a personal thing and this is not recognised in daily events. Many people expect degrees and levels of intelligence to define how happy someone will be in there future , I however believe the opposite.
College or further education is not for everyone just like gender is not a choice , personality defines who we are and where we are gong.
Education is an appropriate example , by now most of us have been in education almost 13 years and many of us will continue on to third level. I remember lacing up my tiny black shoes on the first day of primary school , the gates seemed infinite , my biggest fear being whether or not my teacher was nice .
Now however, the minute details are insignificant , and we are just hoping we make it.
