It's good to treat yourself isn't it? People say that it's good for the soul. Ok, so I might be overdoing it but who doesn't like a treat now and then? Every now and then we deserve something nice to reward ourselves for our achievements. On such an occasion, after I had decided you know what - I've been a fabulous, grievance free, top notch student...I deserve a reward - I chose a bag of crisps.
Yes, I know some of you may like a bag of crisps everyday, which I would too, but let's pretend I'm making an effort to be healthy this year, shall we? It wasn't a particularly fantastic looking bag of crisps such as Walkers or Kings but a fairly, ordinary, fifty cent bag of crisps. One of those cheap bags that try to compete with Tayto yet always fails miserably. They never quite match the flavour. And the packaging isn't colourful or bright with no pictures or anything like that.
So I opened up the bag and to my HORROR I noticed it was only half full. God, this really annoys me! You expect when you have a bag of crisps that you'd recieve a nice generous amount of crisps, even though you'd feel a bit guilty, but no! There this bag of crisps was sitting in my hand with only about fifteen crisps nestled at the bottom of it. And they didn't even taste that nice! I have to say I was absolutely disgusted! Some people are optimists and would say it's half full or as my mother would say "Aren't you lucky to be getting a bag at all?" but really when I have some crisps I'd like the real deal. I want to not have to think about going back and sneaking another bag. Or I might have to turn to an apple for my reward!!!
So next time crisp companies please give me a proper bag of crisps. Please.
Oh and don't fill up the excess space with air.
You can't fool me!
