In the end, it’s fair to say that I could of worked that bit harder, I could of been a nicer person to others throughout the years, I could of engaged more in school activities, but in this post I’m not going to focus on the ‘could of’s’ and ‘should ofs’ because life is too short to think negatively. Without a doubt, I can easily say the past six years have been the best six years of my life so far. The transition from primary school to secondary school was a huge challenge in my life that I’ll never forget. People who I saw as strangers at the time are now life time friends, those people have helped me through these past six years and I’m greatly appreciative of that as I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for them. School has made me more independent and more motivated to reach goals in life. Yes, there has been mornings when I just did not want to get out of bed (especially the last few weeks) but I cannot say that I ever hated coming to school and I cannot say that I won’t miss it either. We all have to move on at some point in our lives and exit that comfort zone that we have been in for so long. Our school days are finally over, it’s time for something new (or maybe we’ll be back again next September but hopefully not.) There has been up’s and down’s throughout the years but I’m glad to say that I have spent them with all of you. At least it can be said that together, we got there in the end.
